Welcome to Pusser's, an award-winning restaurant, bar and retail store, right on the Annapolis Harbor. Named after the Pusser's rum brand it's the only true waterfront restaurant in Annapolis.
Established in 1994 under an operating lease with the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, Pusser's has become a favorite dining spot and "watering hole" for local Annapolitans, and a "must-see" among visitors.
Voted Annapolis’ best waterfront dining and dock bar, we pride ourselves on serving fresh seafood, local market ingredients and seasonal specialties all with a vibrant Caribbean flair. It's a fun, casual atmosphere with island-inspired cocktails, a full array of craft and domestic beers, wines and the world-famous Painkiller.
Inside, Pusser's features fun and relaxing spaces with our main bar originally brought in from Wales. We have a large selection of boat models, colorful caribbean decor and an original tin ceiling. Our waterside cafe area is climate controlled with broad views of the harbor. All of this is topped off by our outdoor dining area and dock bar right on the mouth of Ego Alley, with a regular parade of boats coming and going in the harbor.
When coming in the front entrance, adjacent to the hotel lobby, you can visit the Pusser's Company store. It has casually designed tropical and nautical apparel, custom Pusser's tees and souvenirs, and plenty of Pusser's rum. Walk down the hall to the restaurant and you will find an extraordinary collection of Marion Warren photos depicting the graphic history of Annapolis and the Naval Academy from 1880 to 1990.
Our Chef
Chef James E. Ericksen, IIProfessionally trained at the Culinary Institutes of America, Chef Jim has traveled the country, working in many fine establishments. While working as the Executive Sous Chef for a Baltimore hotel, Chef Jim found a home in Annapolis and fell in love with the waterfront town. He began working at Pusser͛s Caribbean Grille in April of 1995 and brought his passion and excitement for cooking to the restaurant͛s menu.
"The Caribbean represents so many cultures and the food there is quite an infusion of those cultures. The changing climate of food tastes allows me to constantly evolve my style of cooking and include some Chesapeake favorites to create new and exotic flavors for our guests."

We have an extraordinary collection of more than 200 archival Marion Warren photos dating from 1880 to 1970. These photos represent the pictorial history of downtown Annapolis. They are located in the entrance and hallway from the hotel lobby as well as throughout the restaurant.
African Queen
Ship Model
If you’re a historian or a lover of ship models, you must stop by and take a look at our fantastic replica of the African Queen. This was one of the models actually used in the film to physically run the rapids shown in the movie.

Also, under glass in the lobby gallery and restaurant you will find a collection of antique ship models and displays of reef coral, in addition to framed graphics and photographs of Pusser’s Caribbean heritage.

Pusser’s is proud to support the community in which we live and work. From pouring Painkillers at golf tournaments to serving up some of our menu favorites at fundraisers, the Pusser’s team works hard to give back to the neighborhood.
